Accepting the fact that corona is going to be there for longer time and we need to adapt ourself to very lifestyle with precautions, Government went on trial and took decision to open all religious places with certain restrictions imposed. However, some states didn’t favour it.
The time to open is between 06:00 am to 07:00 pm. Aadhar card identification has been made mandatory, followed by Aarogya Setu to be downloaded. Thermal screening at the entrances and use of sanitizers has been made compulsory. In places where we have larger number of devotees, the number was restricted to max 300 per hour. The old people above 65 years of age, children below 10 years and pregnant women are forbidden, No physical offering can be done or any sort of human contact is strictly restricted. Steps were taken for crowd management at vehicle parking places.
Inspite of all, there was no mass gatherings as expected. Those who visited, followed all rules laid upon. Let’s see how it turns in coming day with a country of huge population, where religion is given utmost importance and people find solace by visiting religious places.
