In the midst of an ongoing conflict with China, a dispute arose over the open border between India and Nepal. On Sunday, between Nepal and India relations were constructed on ‘No Mans Land’ on the open border from Nepal side. The nearest district of India from this place is Pilibhit district of Uttar Pradesh. On receiving the information, the SSB DIG, Pilibhit DM and SP Force reached the spot. After the talks with the officials of both the countries, the construction has been stopped. The matter has been reported to the higher authorities.
On Sunday, the district administration received information that a road is being constructed from Nepal side on ‘No Mans Land’ near Pillar No. 38 on the Indo-Nepal border.
On receiving the information, DM Vaibhav Srivastava, SP Jayaprakash, DIG HNS Bisht, along with SSB jawans reached the Indo-Nepal border crossing the Sharda river. Discussions were also held with the officers of Nepal here. In this, the construction work being done by Nepal has been stopped for the time being.
